Chemistry laboratory instruction can be a challenging subject for students with visual impairments. However, it's important to recognize that with the right tools and techniques, blind and visually impaired students can excel in the field of chemistry just like any other student.

In their talk, "Beyond Workarounds and Mitigation: Demystifying Chemistry Laboratory Instruction for Blind and Vision-Impaired Students", Cary Supalo and Casey Wright provide valuable insights into how chemistry instructors can make their courses more accessible to visually impaired students.

For those who missed the talk or wish to review the information presented, Supalo and Wright have provided slides that can be accessed HERE. You can also follow their respective Twitter accounts (@carysupalo and @casey_e_wright).
